Annapurna – where dreams meet danger

Annapurna stands as one of the most dangerous and unforgiving mountains on Earth. At 8,091 meters, it is a place where breathtaking beauty and silent death walk side by side. Unlike Everest, Annapurna offers no mercy—its vertical walls, constant avalanches, and unpredictable storms make every step a gamble with fate. With one of the highest fatality rates of all 8,000-meter peaks, it is known among mountaineers as a graveyard in the sky.

Somehow, through sheer determination and unbroken will, we managed to reach the summit. But this victory came at a heartbreaking cost. During this same climb, an avalanche swept away two of our friends from another agency. They were strong, passionate souls chasing the same dream, and in a moment, the mountain took them from us.

Standing on the summit, there was no celebration—only the sound of the wind and the weight of their absence. We carried their memory in every step of our descent. Annapurna gave us a peak, but it left a scar that will never heal. This mountain is not just a climb; it is a place that demands courage, claims sacrifices, and forever changes the hearts of those who dare to touch its heights.
