Freerunning in the Swiss Alps

Australian Freerunner Dominic Di Tommaso jumps out of a helicopter in front of the Matterhorn and thus the fun begins. The unfamiliar, new environment together with technically ambitious manouevres demanded from the Australian not only full concentration but also highest physical performances. The absolute highlight for the Sydney-born athlete was the jump out of the helicopter. No freerunner had ever attempted such a jump. The back winch of the rotor blades, the uneven and small landing site and the height of more than 3,000 metres above sea level – a totally new experience and challenge.
