Alaska Chronicles – Chapter One – Arrival

In April of 2023, Blair Conklin and I were lucky enough to be invited on a once in a lifetime trip with Ben Gravy. 6 nights and 7 days off the grid in Alaska searching for calving glaciers and surfable waves aboard The Milo.

In this first chapter, we arrive in Anchorage and set out to ride the Turnagain Arm tidal bore the day before boarding the boat.
