This past winter, we had the privilege of visiting Morocco and embarking on a journey along the raw and remote coastline of the Sahara desert with Wasted Talent. Led by well-versed Saharan surfers and explorers, Soufiane Charoub and Jerome Sahyoun, we covered almost the entirety of the coastline within a mere 10 days. We started the trip in the live and vibrant city of Casablanca, and then ventured south on a 3,000 km road trip in hopes of finding empty waves. The Billabong and Wasted Talent team have been collectively devastated by the tragic events that have caused untold damage and loss in central Morocco on September 8th.
