FREEMO | Ep. 03 – Reset

On the third episode of #FREEMO we find out that sometimes you can’t win them all and that’s what makes it all so beautiful. Rafael Pease and the crew faces a relentless storm that lasts longer than originally forecasted, leaving them completely buried multiple times on the glacier.

We go into these places to snowboard snow covered peaks and for this to occur we need strong storms to blanket them. We try to set ourselves up for success but the weather is very unpredictable high up on the glaciers near the fjords and gulf of Alaska, this is the reality of winter expeditions to go ride powder.
