Isenseven – the Flo Bürgel Tribute
A legend, gone too soon.
Flo was one of the most iconic German riders of the early to mid 00s. He was the king of steez and undoubtedly influenced many kids on the mountain and in the streets. In an era where snowboarders began to be labeled either as street, park, or backcountry riders, Flo was at home in every terrain. He didn’t believe in labels and was known for staying true to himself, pursuing his own unique vision of snowboarding.
But most of all, Flo was a friend. His sense of humor was infectious, as was his motivation to ride. Friends always came first, and he would go to lengths to help a buddy out. Be it in learning a new trick, hooking you up with a ride for the next trip, or just being there when times were tough. Things never got boring when Flo was around, and we truly missed hanging out, traveling, and filming with him in the late Isenseven years.
One of the GOATs.
Our thoughts go out to Flo’s family and friends.
We miss you, homie. Isenseven loves you! Ride in peace.
